Hello beautiful souls !

My name is Selma, which means “Peace” in Arabic, and my passion is to help yoginis and yogis find inner peace and self-love through yoga.
In my early twenties, I stepped onto the yoga mat for the first time—and little did I know it would be a life-changing gift. Over the years, yoga has helped me heal from the effects of school bullying, soothe a dysregulated nervous system, and find self-love and joy.
With over 20 years of practice, I am now a RYT500 and have the privilege of sharing my passion through Kundalini, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga. My mission is to help beautiful souls find their inner peace, self-love, and joy.
A lifelong learner and studyholic, I bring into my classes a love for chakras, lunar cycles, and Reiki energy. My teaching style is inclusive, authentic, modern and focused on physical and mental well-being. Outside of yoga, I also teach Zumba, blending movement, energy, and joy in all that I do.
Beyond the mat, I hold a PhD in sociology and am deeply committed to the fight against racism and discrimination. By day, I manage a nonprofit in the literary sector whose mission is to combat racism through books.
